The Fish&Click programme has been running in Martinique since July 2024. As in mainland France, the information gathered through the application will enable IFREMER team to work on characterising lost fishing gear in Martinique and reducing their impact. The partnership with L'ASSO-MER, an association working on marine environment protection, will make it easier to pick up large fishing gear at sea that threaten biodiversity. 

Thanks to this citizens' initiative, everyone can take action and contribute to the preservation of marine ecosystems.
