A scuba diving instructor, Bernard practices many sports and leisure activities at sea. "I swim all year round, practice sea kayaking and sail on a sailboat". After discovering Fish & Click through his wife, practicing hiking in sea, Bernard began to report fishing and aquaculture equipment observed on the beach during his walks.

In his observation sector, Bernard observes a majority of waste from shellfish farming activities. "I think that these companies would be interested in working on alternative, less polluting solutions," suggests Bernard, who recalls the links and the important involvement of professional actors in these issues.
