First workshop for INdIGO project

The first online workshop in the framework of the INdIGO project (INnovative fishing Gear for Ocean) took place this Wednesday, November 18, 2020 with the theme "Developing fishing gear more respectful of the environement". The opportunity to present INdIGO projet and its progress with the intervention of two partners: IFREMER with the Fish & Click program and the SMEL which establishes a questionnaire among fishermen for the acceptability of a new biodegradable fishing gear.

 

Three other speakers were invited: Christian Guyomard from INTERMAS and Julie Maheut from SMIDAP presented their work on biosourced and compostable mussel farming equipment, Théo Desprez presented the company Fil&Fab, which recycles used fishing nets.

 

A half-day that gave rise to many exchanges on these different themes between the 60 participants present.
